Intensive and specialized language support will be provided prior the beginning of the Academic Program, both in English and Spanish.
Objetives:
A competitive business manager needs to know the latest trends in technology, understand and commit to the need of a sustainable and social economy and to see the world as a unique globalised market. Moreover, he shall be an entrepreneur both inside and outside its own organization. Having these axes as a starting point, you will enrich your knowledge to become a professional prepared to manage businesses in a complex and international environment.
The objective of GMBA programme is to train international leaders in the field of business management. The GMBA programme is aimed at graduates or young professionals who wish to pursue a career in a global business context and seek to sharpen their management and entrepreneurship skills. Fluency in English is required; basic knowledge of Spanish highly recommended.
The one year accelerated course will allow students to quickly advance in their professional career by providing them with excellent education; enhancing their global management skills, living a full immersion experience in three different countries, building up on intercultural, linguistic and communication skills and entering the extensive and solid global network of EOI alumni.
Methodology:
Our Global MBA includes a variety of learning methodologies and activities specifically designed to introduce junior managers to the sophisticated and multilayered world of global business relationships. It concentrates in an in-depth study of three regions of the world and the intricate relations between them.
All of our courses are taught with a global perspective by faculty with an extensive international experience in order to offer students a comprehensive vision of the world. Through class lectures and discussions, case analysis and real live simulations always complemented by company visits students will have a first hand experience of what is like to work in a global company. Students also have the opportunity to meet and interact with outstanding learders of the business community who will share their particular professional experience with the group.
In addition to gaining business skills, kwoledge and leadership inshight the GMBS will be held in different locations worldwide. In each location, students will participate in a full program of lectures, seminars and company visits in order to in depth explore a particular market environment. At the same time students have the opportunity to meet with company managers and other experts in the field while having an enriching cultural and personal experience.
Assessment and Evaluation:
The master's assessment system has a two-pronged approach.
Continuous evaluation
Students are assessed over the course of each term or teaching period, in a process which, as appropriate, takes into account class participation, written work, presentations in class, practical activities and guided academic activities, as well as objective testing or examinations.
Each one of these concepts is allocated a percentage mark which, when added up or weighted, contributes the final grade awarded for the subject assessed. The percentages for each of the concepts referred to above will be itemised, along with any others that individual teachers or departments may decide to include.
Furthermore, during the assessment period students are monitored individually to assess their level of participation and commitment through personal interviews conducted with the programme director.
Final project
As a complement to the assessment of the courses, students shall submit and subsequently present their final project, completed in the final period of the Master's. Students who have successfully completed all the subjects as well as the final dissertation, shall will be awarded the Diploma of the “Global MBA” by EOI Business School.

EThe GMBA offers an excellent curriculum that includes a selection of inter-disciplinary courses geared to the development of crossover management abilities. Prior to the beginning of the program there is a optional Intensive Spanish Language & Culture program (ISLCP) that will allow all international students to become familiar with Spanish language and culture with a special emphasis on the business Spanish and the Spanish & European business context.
The academic program is 12 month full time program divided into two 16 week semesters which conclude with a final one week Evaluation period. Every course may have a different number of credit hours; please check the course catalogue for details.
The GMBA also features two International Interims (or Study Trips) upon conclusion of each semester; the winter trip will take place in Mid February and the summer trip will take place in July.
