The Executive Master in Project Management with Microsoft of the Universidad de Valencia, develops the International Passport of Project Manager® , meaning the training itinerary a professional must know to become a project manager certificated by professional associations in project management and Microsoft. From the beginning the students will be in a Microsoft On line environment, designed by OdPe

Objectives

1. Learning to value their time and organize their projects.

2. Being able to reconstruct a project according to the Master methodology, based on the international standards in project management, while assimilating the project management fundamentals.

3. Being capable of passing the exams of the most noteworthy Professional Certificates in Project Management: PMP-PMI, TDP/PDP-IPMA and PRINCE 2 levels.

4. Entering the profesional career of project manager and consolidate their curriculum vitae.

5.Obtaining the set of certificates Microsoft has in the project management enviroment.

6. Knowing the main sources and better practices in project management through the experience of most important profesional associations internationally.

7. Achieving the financing of their course by a third party.

Methodology

EMPM with Microsoft is designed as an open forum of ideas, experiences and knowledge in which each participant works as a main active protagonist, and responsible for their own learning process. It is proposed a method based on self-learning that is constructive, adaptive, self-directed and cooperative, through a multimedia training system, facilitating both, single and group working. The student gains in this process a semi-professional status, working over their organization conflicts. We think that the project management and analysis techniques can only be acquired in real situations.

Collaborative Environment

Microsoft definitely bets on the development and continuous improvement of their products in the project management segment. EMPM with Microsoft is given with most advanced technology, provided by Microsoft, setting the student on a micro-environment of project management with computer tools from the beginning.

Microsoft International Certification

El EMPM with Microsoft apart from preparing for the professional certification aforementioned, has established a qualification system, based on the self Microsoft certifications. Two types of qualification will exist:

- Expert User: all students.
- PMO Manager with Microsoft EPM: students interested
