The Bachelor´s Degree in International Hotel Management programme is addressed to candidates who have succesfully completed High School studies and its final aim is to train future professionals in Operational Management in any hotel department.

Requisitos para la realización del curso:
- To hold a High School Certificate or equivalent*
- To pass the Vatel admission exams.
*Foreign students will be requested a certificate from the school where the student attended high school or equivalent, entitling the holder to pursue higher education in the country of origin.
Application process
Candidates must fill in the online application form, with all requested information.
After evaluating all applications, Vatel Malaga will invite successful candidates to do the online admission exam and have an interview.
Candidates confirm the date when they will be able to take the online admission exams and interview.
Candidates will be informed about the results seven days after the Admission Exam.
Candidates will be officially enrolled once administrative procedure and payment have been completed.

Year 1
Academic Bachelor Year 1
With weeks of theoretical courses followed by weeks of professional experience in application structures right on the campus, students can immediately apply what they’ve learned in management, marketing, human resources and professional culture. All students also study two foreign languages, including English, which is indispensable for careers in the hospitality industry.
Internship Bachelor year 1
Selected by the school, the first practices of the student are carried out in the country for 6 months. During this period, the student learns to master essential day-to-day tasks in the establishment, in high season of the sector.
Year 2
Academic Bachelor year 2
In the classroom, new courses such as law and the tourist economy complete the curriculum for students. During practical application weeks, students begin their managerial work: they supervise 1st year students while being managed themselves by 3rd year students. Students can also apply to do their 2nd year abroad, in a different Vatel School, in the framework of the Marco Polo program, when this is accepted by the School Director.
Internship Bachelor year 2
During the second year, the Vatel students will complete 4 months of summer internship, in addition to two and a half months of academic internship during the theoretical course. It is recommended that the student has an international professional experience in order to develop their linguistic and language skills, as well as their intercultural and international social relations qualities.
Year 3
Academic Bachelor year 3
Students continue to acquire financial, legal, economic and linguistic skills that they’ll be needing when managing a hotel. Using concrete case studies, they develop their analytical capacities and decision-making skills. In their professional experience, they manage second year students and make sure they are conveying the correct messages to first year students.
Internship Bachelor year 3
During the third year, the Vatel students will complete 6 months of internships in non-operational departments such as Finance, Marketing, Purchasing, Revenue, Event Management, among others. This internship may be done in Spain or abroad.

Duración:
Duration of studies: 3 years. Number of hours: more than 1200hours/year between practical and theorical period
